Education
I currently have a Bachelors Degree in Math from SUNY Brockport that has also taken the majority of my math courses at Rochester Institute of Technology. My overall GPA is 3.56. I am currently attending graduate school at SUNY Brockport for Adolescent Education. My area of interest is Math grade 6-12.
Experience
I have tutored all throughout high school and the beginning of college in algebra, trig and calculus. I have previously tutored students this past year in Algebra I, Trigonometry, and Calculus. I have done my education placements in a 6th and 7th grade math class, where I have completely learned the common core standards. I have also done a placement in an Algebra II/Trigonometry high school classroom where I have made and taught several lesson plans. I am going to be a math teacher, for grades 7-12. So I have always been interested in tutoring and helping improve the New York Schools. I have taken all relevant math courses in my undergraduate career such as geometry, calculus I,II,II, differential equations, linear algebra I, II. In High School, I was a coordinator of a leadership program to help Freshmen adjust to a new environment. That is one of my best qualities is to help students. I love the feeling when they understand the material and want to learn more!
